Ski enthusiasts have enjoyed an unconventional competition in northern Finland.
Contestants skied through a 30-metre swamp, which may have proved more physically demanding than skiing down a traditional slope.
To add to the fun, competitors wore fancy dress costumes including suits and floral dresses, with high heels adding to the difficulty of the muddy challenge.
