A sandstorm swept across Golmu city in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Wednesday, turning the sky yellow.
The sandstorm occurred at 7.31 pm. It enveloped the whole city with sand and dust in a short time, while visibility plummeted to as low as 100 meters in Golmu suburb.
No casualties or property damage were immediately reported.
