JUBA (Reuters) - South Sudan's government has proposed a bill that would extend President Salva Kiir's term for three more years, a move condemned by opposition forces who say it violates the spirit of an ongoing peace process.

The bill seeks to amend the constitution to extend Kiir's tenure to 2021, lawmakers told Reuters on Tuesday.
