FRANKFURT (Reuters) - E.ON <EONGn.DE> on Wednesday said it would seek to delay two key votes at the annual general meeting of Uniper <UN01.DE>, evading a decision on whether to support a motion brought by activist Elliott to appoint a special auditor.
The proposal to delay that decision as well as the vote on whether to endorse management, which is a standard procedure at AGMs in Germany, was brought forth by Guntram Wuerzberg, E.ON's general counsel.
Sources had told Reuters on Tuesday that E.ON would likely file such a motion.
