Queen Elizabeth's consort recovering from hip operation

Britain's Prince Philip is making satisfactory progress in hospital after successful hip replacement surgery.

The 96-year-old husband of Queen Elizabeth is likely to remain in King Edward VII Hospital in London for several days, Buckingham Palace said.
