Paris Fashion Week comes to a close and one of the highlights has been Giambattista Valli, who put on a characteristically lavish display with richly textured duster coats, ruffle-tiered floral-print evening gowns, while above the neck models were decorated with kaleidoscopic glitter.
Iconic French brand Poiret displayed loose silhouettes re-interpreted for today and transformed into a sumptuous blue coat, a slouchy wrap-around grey dress or a stretched white shirt.
The collection by Hermes started off with black slim silhouettes before gradually bringing in powerful colour, while the ever-so sustainability-conscious Stella McCartney played with deconstruction and reconstruction at her Ready-to-Wear show.
