Mens' tennis continues to surprise at the start of the 2018 season.

The topsy-turvey start to the men's tennis season continues with the unheralded Australian teenager Alex De Minaur beating the fourth seed, Milos Raonic, in Brisbane to move into the quarter-finals.

The world number 208 was a wildcard entry, but he put up a wildcat performance to blow the Canadian away in just over an hour and a half in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

The big-serving Raonic had no answer to three service breaks against him in the first set alone, and the world number 24 bowed out limply despite trying to shake off the rust in the second set and claw his way back.

De Minaur did not let him back in with a sniff to seal the biggest win of his career.
