A Filipino traffic police was spotted dancing and wearing a Santa Claus costume on the job in one of Manila's entertainment districts to lessen the stress of daily commute.
Traffic cop Ramiro Hinojas, 51, donned Santa Claus' iconic red jacket and white beard and danced self-improvised steps as trucks, buses and jeepneys sped past him from early morning to noon.
Hinojas, who started managing Manila's congested highways in 2005, first thought of dancing on the second year of his job to stay fit. He said he noticed motorists began paying more attention to his hand signals and directions if he danced.
