The former captains of the US and Canadian women’s ice hockey teams have had a baby together.
Caroline Ouellette, who led Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics, and Julie Chu, who captained the US team until 2013 had a daughter called Liv on November 5.

The couple played together for the Montreal Canadiennes last season.
“I feel truly blessed to experience this incredible adventure with my love and best friend Julie. I did not realise it was possible to love this much until I met this little buddle of joy!” Ouellette wrote on Instagram.
