Women in Saudi Arabia will be allowed to attend sporting events in three selected stadiums from early next year. The plan is part of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman's reforms laid out in his 'Vision for 2030'.

Saudi Arabia will allow women to attend sporting events in three selected stadiums from early next year according to the countries General Sports authority

Stadiums in Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh are being prepared to accommodate women. Restaurants and cafes will also be set up as part of the changes.

Last month Saudi Arabia announced that from June, women would be allowed to drive cars, ending the world’s only ban on female drivers.

The plans are part of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salmans reforms laid out in his ‘Vision for 2030’.

The 32-year-old plans to modernize Saudi society and diversify the economy away from Oil.
