Eight people have died after two lorries and a minibus collided on one of Britain's main motorways at the start of a busy bank holiday weekend.

All of those who died are believed to have been travelling in the minibus, which was from the Nottingham area.
Four people have been taken to hospital, including a child, according to Police.
The crash happened on the southbound M1 at Newport Pagnell around 80km northwest of London just before 03:15 on Saturday morning.
Two men, one aged 31 and the other aged 53, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They are both currently in custody and being questioned by police..
