TV personality Bruce Forsyth dies aged 89

<p>British veteran entertainer Bruce Forsyth has died aged 89.</p> <p>The former host of hit-<span class="caps">BBC</span> television show Strictly Come Dancing was previously unwell and spent time in hospital earlier this year for a severe chest infection.</p> <p>He was for some time Britain’s best-paid TV star and dominated television light entertainment between the 1960s and 80s, presenting shows including Play Your Cards Right and The Generation Game.</p> <p>Forsyth’s career, which started aged 14, spanned eight decades and saw him work into his eighties.</p> <p>He started out as a variety performer and went on to present popular Saturday night TV.</p>
