One person has been killed and four injured after a gunman opened fire on two beach clubs in the Turkish resort of Bodrum.

The attacker reportedly came to the first club at 3 a.m. and asked where the next door club was before leaving and firing at random between the two venues.

Around 400 people were in the two premises at the time, while three staff members and two customers were hit. 18-year-old Furkin Say, who had been working as a bellboy, later died from his injuries in hospital.

The assailant reportedly fled the scene in a car and is yet to be apprehended.
