Water inspired Iris van Herpen for her Autumn/Winter collection she presented at Paris ‘Cirque d’Hiver. Models walked the runway to the sound of a live performance by Danish group “Between Music”, who played their instruments while submerged in five gigantic water tanks.
The Dutch fashion designer said she wanted to capture lightness with dresses. On the outfits you see the reflection as you can see it on water, she added that she really tried to capture air and water in one dress.
French couture designer Stephane Rolland celebrated the 10th anniversary of his house with his new collection shown at the Opera Bastille. Vauthier’s signature look, emphasizing a woman’s curves and raw sexuality with deep V cleavage, accentuated waist and leather, whilst playing on her soft side using ribbons, lace or small polka dots prints. The collection included long draping gowns, high-slit leg cutouts with gold embellished art.
