Northern Ireland politics is in chaos after parties failed to negotiate a power sharing agreement ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

NI Secretary of State James Brokenshire said the sides will continue to talk into the weekend in the hope of a compromise if not
London could adopt direct rule, Brokenshire could hand more time for talks or he has the option to call for fresh assembly elections.
