Five people were killed in Orlando, Florida, on Monday, June 5, as an ex-employee opened fire in a warehouse before killing himself, according to Orange County
Sheriff Jerry Demings.

“He was a disgruntled employee that came back to this business this morning,” said Demings.

The 45-year-old suspect was fired from his warehouse job in April and had a history of misdemeanour criminal offences, was not known to be linked to a terror organisation.

The shooting occurred in an industrial area with multiple warehouses on Forsyth Road.
