Groups of Spanish and Italian football fans enjoyed a beverage ahead of tonight’s (June 3) Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid in the Welsh city of Cardiff.
Galactico Gareth Bale will be on the bench for the final in his home town. The Welsh Wizard has yet to fully recover from a November injury.
A huge security operation has seen about 6,000 police officers have been deployed.
UEFA decided last week that the showpiece final would be played under the Principality Stadium’s retractable roof. Anti-drone security reasons was cited as one factor.
