My First Women’s Day
On March 8th, a day to mark women’s fight against injustice, L’Oréal needed to reconnect with women’s true needs in a relevant way. We decided to use all its strength as a respected beauty brand in Brazil, along with the power of its spokespersons, to empower women and reach as much people as possible with the most meaningful message on International Women’s Day: equality, inclusion and respect for for all. To do so, we had to present the brand’s point of view by introducing a new character in its communication: Valentina Sampaio, a trans woman. And tell her true story.
