Business Line looks at one of the most important of the executive orders signed by President Donald Trump in which he moved to scale back regulation of US financial services.

He has ordered a major review of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

We explain the origins of that legislation, which was a response to the 2008 financial crisis and intended to regulate and reform US financial organisations and stop them from making risky and irresponsible decisions.
