The Basilica d’Ainay in Lyon transformed itself into a giant screen last night to show solidarity with refugees trapped in a foreign land.

The Basilica d’Ainay in Lyon transformed itself into a giant screen last night to show solidarity with refugees trapped in a foreign land.

Combining historical and modern imagery from the Middle East, the church wanted to draw attention to the plight of hundreds of thousands of people forced from their homes in the region by conflict or terror.
