Two astronauts ventured outside the International Space Station on Friday (January 6) to upgrade the outpost’s power supply.

NASA’s Shane Kimbrough and Peggy Whitson, both from the USA, replaced older batteries with more powerful lithium-ion power packs during a planned six-hour space walk.
