Two brothers have been arrested in the German city of Duisburg, suspected of planning a terror attack on a shopping centre in nearby Oberhausen.

The brothers, aged 28 and 31, reportedly originate from Kosovo. Police have not revealed if they are German citizens.

It is unclear if the plot or the arrests were connected to Monday’s attack on a Christmas market in Berlin.
