The piste in France was hard, fast and bumpy but Stuhec kept things under control to hold on to a win.

She was joined on the podium by Austria’s Cornelia Huetter.

That's a pumped #worldcupvaldisere podium. ilkastuhec with ANOTHER win, 2nd Hütter +0.28 3rd Goggia +0.32. pic.twitter.com/9TQVvQsBcM
— FIS Alpine (fisalpine) December 17, 2016

Huetter has now ten World Cup podiums to her name and Val d’Isere is her first of the season.

Swiss skier Lara Gut made a hash of things and made her frustration plain with a
piercing scream. Gut is now fourth in the downhill standings.
