“You claim you are the party of family values and you nominate this guy?” President Obama laid into the Republican party choice for president, as Trump faces a snowballing scandal over sexual assault allegations.
Taking to the stage in swing-state Ohio, he said the decision was clear.
“The choice between candidates has never been this stark. It’s a choice between somebody who is as qualified as has ever been… That’s on the one hand. And then on the other hand you’ve got somebody who each and every day, every time he talks proves himself unfit and unqualified for this office.”
On the campaign trail in San Francisco, Clinton also chose to highlight her differences with the media moghul. She told supporters the stakes were high, adding that they couldn’t let Trump’s divisive and dangerous vision of America take hold.
