Roberto Mancini has left Serie A side Inter.
The Italian was in his second stint in charge of the club having won the league title three times during his first tenure as boss.
It was a disappointing last two years for the 51-year as the Nerazzurri finished a distant eighth in the 2014-15 campaign and fourth last season.
A statement released by Inter on Monday morning announced Mancini had left San Siro “by mutual agreement”.
It is widely believed the main reason for his departure was due to a falling out with the club’s new owners – Chinese company Suning Holdings.
Inter are now set to appoint former Ajax boss Frank de Boer as their new manager.
Reports suggest the Dutchman has agreed a three year contract with the 18-times Italian champions.
