Head of Virgin Richard Branson said a Brexit would be detrimental to British prosperity: “I think as far as Great Britain is concerned it would be a financial disaster, you would see the pound collapsing and trade being stifled and a danger that things like the financial centre of Europe being in London could easily move to Europe.”

Global markets reacted positively to the latest polls, which suggest the ‘Remain’ is on a roll.

The Dow Jones surged then calmed, still it closed up.

Asian markets also reacted positively to polls with Japanese stocks rebounding and the safe haven yen falling.

Last week investors swooped on the yen
as polls suggesting a vote to leave the EU led to market jitters.
