“Fantastic. It wasn’t the best performance but we finished it in the end 2-1, top of the table, can’t ask for anything more, fantastic,” one fan told Euronews
“It was incredible, that last minute goal, the fan park erupted, it was absolutely incredible, it is the best feeling in my life, it was insane. Absolutely incredible,” said another.
Thousands of England fans have made the trip to France for the championship.
Major cities have set up fan zones in the centre for supporters to watch their team in action if they cannot get to the match in person.
