The Golden State Warriors kept their composure to thump the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-77 in the second game of their best-of-seven series in the NBA playoffs.

In front of a packed Oracle Arena, Lebron James’ team-mates got off to a strong start and were leading by two points going into the second quarter but it wasn’t to be as Draymond Green stepped it up a gear.

The 26-year-old power forward produced an MVP performance to lead the winners with 28 points while Klay Thompson added 17.

Stephen Curry scored 18 points and took nine rebounds but played just 25 minutes as the defending champions secured the win, giving them a major boost ahead of their next game in Cleveland on Wednesday.
