A club from Madrid will rule Europe come Saturday night but will it be Real or Atletico.

The Pair face off in the champions league final at the San Siro in Milan in a rematch of the 2014 showpiece game which Real won for their tenth title in the competition.

Ahead of Saturday’s tie Real Madrid and their goalscoring machine Cristiano Ronaldo had a scare when he limped out of training with a thigh injury but the Portuguese international appears to have recovered and is expected to start.

Coach Zinedine Zidane will however be without France defender Raphael Varane who suffered a morale-sapping thigh injury and will also miss Euro 2016.

Revenge is in the air in Diego Simeone’s camp after Atletico missed out on their first Champions League trophy two years back.

But they now have another crack at the title and at Real on Saturday.

Simeone has no injury concerns for the final.

A major boost comes in the form of central defender Diego Godin who is fit again after recovering from a thigh problem.

With Sevilla winning the Europa League, whatever the result on Saturday Spanish clubs will have won both of Europe’s club competitions for the past three seasons highlighting their continental dominance.
