The Atlanta Hawks kept their composure to edge out the Toronto Raptors 95-87 on home soil on Thursday.

The win snapped a five-game losing streak while avoiding a series season sweep by Kyle Lowry’s team-mates.

The point guard had 13 points, took 14 rebounds and blocked five shots but it wasn’t enough as Jeff Teague produced a man of the match performance to secure the win.

The 27-year-old scored a crucial three-pointer in the dying moments of the game and finished with 23 points as the Hawks remain a half-game ahead of the Miami Heat and third overall in the Eastern Conference with a week left in the regular season.
