Air France-KLM shares took a dive in Paris on Wednesday with the news company boss
Alexandre de Juniac is decamping to Montreal to run the airline industry’s trade group, the IATA.
The shares lost 7% as investors took fright that de Juniac’s progress in restoring profits and reducing debt would be at risk. He reneges on three years remaining on his contract, but insisted the group now had “one of the best product lines in the world”.
