A bus carrying German and Austrian tourists has crashed in the central Cuban city of Santi Spiritus. Two people have been killed and 28 others injured.
The accident happened when a lorry struck an overpass and then collided with the bus.
The bus driver and a German tourist died at the scene six of the injured are in a serious condition.
The Thomas Cook travel company issued a statement Sunday saying the bus carried the driver, a tour guide and 27 tourists. It said the travelers were on a seven-night tour of Cuba that was to end Monday. The bus was travelling from the eastern city of Santiago to Trinidad when the crash occured.
