England reach T20 World Cup Final after beating New Zealand

England took on New Zealand in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup in Delhi.

New Zealand batted first and despite the loss of opener Martin Guptill early on Kane Williamson and Colin Munro pushed the Black Caps towards what looked like an impressive total.

However, England recovered in the middle overs and at the death to reduce the favourites to a chaseable 153-8.

England came out to bat and blazed away Jason Roy hit a 44-ball 78 as England reached the target in 17.1 overs.

Joss Buttler scored 32 and hit the winning runs with a six.

England will play either hosts India or The West Indies in Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.
