Storm Katie has swept though southern England, battering buildings, causing travel chaos and, at its peak, leaving up to 100,000 homes without power.

More than 100 flights were cancelled or diverted from Gatwick and Heathrow airports, meaning a turbulent end to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
