The opening quarter was a ding-dong affair with the home side Dallas leading 24-23 going into the second quarter.

It was lead Dallas held into the second half, but not for long.

Cue, the Clippers and Chris Paul as they piled on the agony with the Mavericks on the rack in the second half.

Paul scored a game high 27 points.

Los Angeles went on to rout Dallas 109-90 to send the Mavericks to their third straight defeat.
