Banned Uefa president Michel Platini has walked into the last chance saloon in a bid to overturn his suspension from all football-related activity
Banned Uefa president Michel Platini has walked into the last chance saloon in a bid to overturn his suspension from all football-related activity.
The former France captain was initially handed an eight year ban by the adjudicatory chamber of FIFA’s ethics committee for breaching the governing body’s code of ethics.
That ban was reduced to six by FIFA’s appeals committee last week but Platini has now taken his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport in an attempt to annul the decision.
