America’s Lindsey Vonn broke Annemarie Moser-Proell’s record for most World Cup downhill victories with her 37th win in Cortina on Saturday.

The 31-year-old looked in great shape and completed the 2.6km course in an impressive time of one minute and 37.1 seconds, 0.28 seconds ahead of Canada’s Larisa Yurkiw with Swiss Lara Gut completing the podium.

This result also moves Vonn onto 74 career World Cup wins across all disciplines, just 12 short of Ingemar Stenmark’s all-time record of 86.
