Police in Italy have seized several tonnes of illegal fireworks.

In Caserta authorities confiscated a firework called ‘Bomb Paris,’ containing 10kg of explosives.

In five raids in and around the capital Rome authorities impounded three tonnes of explosives and arrested 34 people.

Many cities in Italy have announced a ban on fireworks to welcome in 2016 due to the current smog emergency facing the country.
