Police in Germany say the bodies of at least eight babies have been found in a house in a town close to the Czech border.

The alarm was raised in the town of Wallenfels. The remains are being examined but experts say this could take some time.

Detectives say they would like to speak to a 45-year-old woman who formerly lived at the address.
