With a few weeks to go until major UN talks on climate change in Paris, French President Francois Hollande is in Iceland to see for himself the consequences of melting ice.

The Solheimajokull glacier has shrunk by more than a kilometre since measurements began in 1931, increasing the risk of flooding and threatening Iceland’s electricity supply.
