German and Swiss media are reporting that the 29 people who fell ill with hallucinations and cramps at a Homeopathy conference in Germany at the start of this month and finished in hospital might have included members of a sect that wanted to “expand their consciousness”. The identified drug administered was 2C-E, an LSD derivative. A criminal inquiry is ongoing.
