Morocco win beach soccer title

Morocco celebrated overall victory at the Beach Soccer Worldwide Tour on home sand in El Jadida.

The host nation lost to Hungary on the final day of action but points won throughout the tournament meant the crown was Morocco’s.

Morocco beat Hungary in the weekend’s opening game but lost 3-1 in the rematch on the last day.

The revenge for Hungary was not as sweet as it could have been as the Lions of the Atlas garnered six points overall to Hungary’s three en route to the title.
