NYC couples re-enact WW2 kiss


Hundreds of couples have descended upon New York’s Times Square to reenact the famous photograph of a kiss between a sailor and a woman celebrating the end of World War II.

The photograph was taken as news broke that Japan had surrendered on August 14, 1945, bringing to the conflict to an end.
