Petr Cech has completed his move to north London after signing on with Arsenal.

The Czech republic goalkeeper has joined the Gunners on a long term contract for an undisclosed fee although local reports suggest its a four-year deal worth about 14 million euros.

He joins Arsenal from city rivals Chelsea where he spent 11 season and played in over 400 games.

Cech moved to England and Chelsea from French club Rennes in 2004.

With the Blue’s he won 13 trophies – including one Champions League and four Premier League titles.

He also set a club goalkeeping record of 228 clean sheets.

However the 33 made only six league appearances last season after losing his first place to Belgian Thibaut Courtois.

As Arsenal’s shotstopper Cech could face Chelsea as early as 2 August in the Community Shield at Wembley.
