The draw for Wimbledon – the third of tennis’ four major championships – took place on Friday.

World number one Novak Djokovic faces a stern test in round one when he takes on Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber.

The top seeded Serb – who hasn’t played in any of the grass court warm up events – is hunting a third title at SW1.

Roger Federer meanwhile is in search of a record eighth title at Wimbledon and will play Bosnia’s Damir Dzumhur who he beat at this year’s French Open.

2013 champion Andy Murray is in the bottom half of the draw along with Rafa Nadal and will kick-start his campaign against Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan.

Defending women’s champion Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic will begin her bid for a third title against Kiki Bertens of the Netherlands.

While world number one Serena Williams can hold all four of the grand slam titles at the same time with victory in London but starts against Russian qualifier Margarita Gasparyan.
