Thousands of schools in areas worst hit by two earthquakes have re-opened in Nepal, one month after the devastating tremors.

With most buildings deemed unsafe, students headed back to class in temporary structures.

Despite the efforts of aid agencies and local authorities, one million children are still without classrooms.
