Sevilla have successfully defended their Europa League crown with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Ukrainian outsiders Dnipro in Warsaw on Wednesday.

Yevhen Konoplyanka’s team-mates opened the scoring in the 7th minute thanks to striker Nikola Kalinic but Grzegorz Krychowiak equalised 20 minutes later with a clinical finish.

Both teams then pushed as Colombian international Carlos Bacca and Ruslan Rotan found the back of the net to make it 2-2 at the interval.

Sevilla, who were bidding to become the first club to win the competition four times, dominated possession in the second-half with Bacca scoring again in the 73rd minute to secure the win.
