Italian champions Juventus have booked their place in the Champions League final with a tense 1-1 draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Having lost the first-leg 2-1 in Turin, the hosts got off to a strong start as former Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men dominated possession but were stunned just after the interval when young sensation Alvaro Morata drew the sides level thanks to a clinical finish.

The reigning champions then pushed and created several good chances but it wasn’t to be as Juventus held on to reach their first Champions League final since 2003.

Paul Pogba’s team-mates will next lock horns with Spanish giants Barcelona in the showpiece match in Berlin on June 6.
