Juventus have clinched their fourth straight serie A title with victory over Sampdoria, their 31st Scudetto overall.

Juve needed only a single point to claim the title but a first-half goal by Chilean international Arturo Vidal got them all three.

At 32 minutes the midfielder headed in a cross from Stephan Lichsteiner.

This secures Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri the title in his first season in charge with four games remaining.

Juventus still have more to play for however as they next face Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

They are also set to play Lazio in the Italian Cup final.
