FC Porto produced a superb display to stun Bayern Munich 3-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash at the
Estádio do Dragão on Wednesday.

The hosts got off to the perfect start as former Besiktas forward Ricardo Quaresma struck twice in the first 10 minutes.

Spanish imnternational Thiago Alcántara reduced the deficit before half-time but dreams of a German comeback were dashed by Jackson Martinez who struck in the 65th minute.

Elsewhere Spanish giants Barcelona took a huge step towards the semi-finals with a convincing first-leg victory over Paris Saint Germain at the Parc des Princes.

The Catalans bounced back from their disappointing draw against Sevilla in la Liga as they triumphed 3-1 in the French capital thanks to a brace of goals from former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
